TradeStation, a trading name of TradeStation International Ltd, is allegedly a broker authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom (registration number 445531) that provides its clients with a wide range of tradable assets with low commissions on the powerful trading platforms.
Market Instruments
TradeStation advertises that it is a multi-asset platform with an extensive range of trading instruments in financial markets, including stocks, futures, micro e-mini futures and forex. Some other trading assets like options and CFDs are also available.
Account Types
Apart from demo accounts, TradeStation offers all kinds of account types, including individual, joint, and custodial, as well as a full individual retirement account (IRA) line up including traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs, simplified employee pension (SEP) IRAs, and savings incentive match plan for employees (SIMPLE) IRAs. Also, TradeStation has a wide range of entity accounts that cover everything from sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies, trusts, and corporations. The minimum deposit requirement differs by account type. For example, opening a Cash account requires the minimum initial deposit amount of only $1, while the Margin, Futures and Day-trading account with a much higher minimum initial capital requirements of $2,000, $5,000 and $25,000 respectively.

Commissions are influenced by what asset classes traders are holding. Trading Platform Available
When it comes to trading platforms available, TradeStation gives traders four choices: TradeStation platform, Trader Workstation (TWS), the IBKR mobile application, and IBKR WebTrader. TradeStation platform is advertised with a series of key tools including Advanced Chart Trading, Customized Analysis, One-Click Control and EasyLanguage Tools. TradeStation's web platform has a good design and user interface. While with the mobile app, trading can be done from anywhere and at any time through the right mobile terminals including iOS and Android.
Deposit & Withdrawal
TradeStation accepts deposits and withdrawals with ACH, wire transfers, checks and cryptocurrencies of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple and others. However, some other popular payment methods like credit/debit cards and e-wallets are not available. Withdrawals are processed only on banking days, between Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Bank transfers for US clients are usually completed in one day, but for non-US clients, this can take up to 15 business days. TradeStation's ACH withdrawal is free of charge. However, wire withdrawals cost $35 for non-US clients and $25 for US clients.
Fees
TradeStation also charges some fees, which include but are not limited to exchange fees, clearing fees ($0.0002 per share), transaction fees of $0.0000218 Value of Aggregate Sales for Stocks, ETFs, ETPs, Warrants, Rights, Voting Trust Certificates; as well as the minimum trade allocation fees of trade value 0.0005, $0.35.
