General Information
Firstrade Securities is a stockbrokerage firm and broker-dealer headquartered in Flushing, New York that offers an electronic trading platform to trade financial assets including stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETF), options, mutual funds, and bonds. Firstrade was founded in 1985 by John Liu, as First Flushing Securities. In 1997, the company was renamed to Firstrade Securities Inc., and the company launched Firstrade.com. In April 2010, Taifook Securities Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of TSG, signed an agreement with Firstrade Securities, a US online broker, for cross-border securities trading business.

Minimum account Requirements ( for Options Trading )
While Firstrade does not require a minimum balance to open an account or invest in equity securities, they do require minimum equity in order to place certain option orders. The following table lists the option strategy and the minimum equity required to place option orders:

3. Tap Request Transfer.
4. Select Deposit to My Firstrade Account.
5. Enter the deposit amount and tap Preview.
6. Tap Submit.

1. Login to your Firstrade account.
2. Go to Accounts > Deposit/Transfer.
3. Under the Deposit column, select Electronic Funds (ACH).
4. Enter the deposit amount and click Preview.
5. Click Submit.
For the initial ACH deposit, your funds may take up to 4 business days (not including the date of deposit) to clear.
