General Information & Regulation
Tier1FX is the Foreign Exchange division of Hogg Capital Investments Ltd, a fully licensed Category II Investment Services Company (registration number C 18954) authorized and regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) and located at Nu Bis Centre, Mosta Road, Lija LJA9012, Malta. Tier1FX was founded in 2013, offering various institutional trading on multiple trading platforms.
Market Instruments
Tier1Fx offers investors access to popular tradable instruments in the global financial markets, including Forex (over 50 tradable currency pairs), spot precious metals, spot commodities, index CFDs, multi-asset trading, and cryptocurrency CFDs.
Minimum Deposit
Tier1FX sets up an account type with base currencies of EUR, USD, GBP, CHF. The minimum deposit requirement is up to 1000 EUR/ GBP/USD, way too high for regular traders to get started.
Leverage
The maximum trading leverage is 1:30 for major currency pairs, 1:20 for non-major currency pairs, gold and major indices, 1:10 for commodities other than gold and non-major stock indices, and 1:2 for cryptocurrency CFDs.
Spreads & Commissions
Commissions are 2.5 EUR/$2.75/£2.25 per side per standard lot for Forex, 2.5 EUR/$3.25/€3.25 per side per standard lot for commodities, 0.25/EUR/$0.30/£0.25 per side per contract for CFDs and 0.1% per side of the notional value per contract for cryptocurrencies.
Trading Platform
TierFX offers traders a wide range of secure and efficient trading software, including the market-leading and highly acclaimed MT4 trading software, Fortex 6, JForex, FIX API, and FIX API on MT4. Fortex 6 is designed with mobile and browser users in mind, with a simple and intuitive interface that supports multiple languages and offers T1 JForex includes more than 180 trading indicators and allows you to build advanced automated strategies in a few hours.
VPS
Tier1FX has partnered with Beeks Financial cloud to bring VPS services to interested clients. Tier1FX clients are entitled to a 10% discount on any VPS subscription. Prices start from £27 per month.
Deposit & Withdrawal
TierFX supports users to withdraw and deposit funds using wire transfer. There is no fee for deposits and a fee of 15 EUR/GBP/USD for withdrawals.

Tier1FX asserts that it has a fast and efficient customer support team that works 24/5 during the trading hours. The support desk can be reached on instant web chart, email and support phone lines. A ‘Contact us’ form on the website can also be used to reach the support team. Response is normally by email.
