Key to Markets was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in London, UK, with physical companies in New Zealand and Mauritius (Key To Markets International Ltd and Key To Markets NZ Ltd). Key to Markets is currently regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK (FCA register number 527809).
Market Instruments
Key to Markets offers investors a range of popular financial trading instruments, including Forex currency pairs, indices, stocks, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.
Minimum Deposit
There are two MT4 trading accounts available on the Key to Market platform. Both accounts have a minimum deposit of 100 EUR and a minimum trade size of 0.01 lots.
Key to Markets Leverage
In terms of trading leverage, the maximum leverage level offered by Key to Markets is up to 1:100. Professional traders may hold that this leverage is a little conservative. However, inexperienced traders are not advised to use too high trading leverage in case of heavy fund losses.
Spreads & Commissions
Spreads on the Key to Markets platform vary depending on these two different accounts. Standard accounts are commission-free but require 1 pip mark-up on top of the raw spread. Pro accounts come with raw spreads but charge a commission of $8 per lot. The raw spread is around 0.4 pips for major currency pairs such as EURUSD and 2.8 pips for gold. Swap is charged on both accounts for positions held overnight.
Trading Platforms
Key to Markets offers investors the MT4 trading platform, as well as MT4 for Windows, MT4 for Mac, MT4 for Android, and MT4 for iOS. In addition, there is a FIX API, as well as a free VPS for traders to use.
Deposit & Withdrawal
Key to Markets offers 10 payment options, including wire transfer, SEPA transfer (EUR), card payment, UnionPay, Alipay, and e-wallet. All payment methods are instant except for wire transfer which takes 2-4 days, and SEPA takes 1-2 days. Traders who deposit and withdraw via e-wallet pay 2.5% commission. All other methods are commission-free.
