Inspection Reason

Recently, many investors made telephone calls asking for more exposure of Australia licensed brokers whose real addresses were different from their regulation addresses. In response to investor’s need, the surveyor went to the Australia licensed broker FCL to have a more intuitive view of the broker.

Office Building

According to the regulation information, the Australia licensed broker was located at Level 13, 28-34 O'Connell Street, Sdyney NSW 2000. The surveyor decided to visit the broker.

The surveyor found the new office building according to the regulation information without much trouble.

The surveyor walked into the building and found no information about FCL on the floor guide after reading the floor guide in the lobby at the 1st floor carefully.

In oder to ensure inspection quality, the surveyor arrived at the 13th floor by elevator, walked around the floor and found not FCL’s office but the ofices of Global Credit Investments, Forum Partner Australia and Keystone Wealth.

Conclusion

It was confirmed after the surveyor’s inspection that the real address of FCL in Australia was different from its regulation address. The broker’s investment and advisory license (RN: 239882)  issued by ASIC was suspected to be a cloned license. Since the broker was under no valid regulation at present, please keep cautious when choosing the broker.
