CFI Financial Group traces its roots to a private banking unit founded in 1998. The private banking unit was a division of CFI Financial Group’s sister company, Credit Financier.

Office

According to its registered address, CFI Group is located at 10, Gregori Afxentiou Street, Livadhiotis Court 5-5th Floor, Larnaca. The inspection team made field visits to the site.

The surveyors found their destination according to the address, which is an office building about 300 meters from the Larnaca Sea.

When the surveyors got a closer look at the buidling, they found the overall appearance of it look old.

Survey Highlights

When the surveyors entered the building, the first thing they saw was the company logo on the elevator door. Curiously, this logo is not the logo of CFI Group, but of CFI Financial. After the surveyors called the CFI Group’s sales director, he confirmed that CFI Financial was part of the CFI Group.

As CFI Financial’s logo was quite striking, the surveyors soon found its office. The surveyors saw a map outside the office, and after a careful look they got to know that the company had offices in other countries. After the surveyors rang the doorbell, the head of sales at CFI Financial met the surveyors and showed them around the office. The office room of the Cyprus licensed company was not too large but was well decorated, with about 10 office cubicles.

Conclusion

A field survey confirmed that the actual address of CFI Group was consistent with its registered address. The company claims to hold a full licence from CySEC (No.179/12) and an EU authorized representative’s licence from the UK FCA (No. 602588). But checks with these regulators show that the licensing issued by the FCA had been canceled. Investors can consider choosing the company.
