The inspection team continued its survey campaign as part of the efforts to inspect the authenticity condition of forex industry. For this session, the inspection team goes to Australia to visit ANZFX. 

Office

According to the company’s purported address, ANZFX is located at Level 1, 493 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, Australia.The inspection team sent its survey staff there. 

As its house number is quite eye-catching, the survey staff found the building indicated in the address easily. 

Survey Highlights

The surveyors then entered the building andlooked at the floor guides next to the elevator, yet found no information about ANZFX.

To be one hundred percent sure, the surveyors still conducted a thorough search on the building’s ground floor, which, according to the company’s purported address, should be the exact place where it is at. Still, they didn’t find ANZFX’s office or logo, but instead found another company named GMT Markets. The surveyors noticed that there was a spacious and clean public rest area on the ground floor. 

The surveyors also looked at another directory sign beside GMT Markets’ office, finding nothing about ANZFX either. 

Conclusion

A field survey to the place where the company purports to be based at did not yield any confirmative results. The company claims to hold a full license (400364) from the Australian ASIC, but a check with the regulator shows that the statement was untrue, as the licensing details belong to another entity.
